Do I get my original media back?
Yes. We return all your original media.
Does the quality of the media get better or worse?
The sound/video quality won't get worse during the transfer process but it wont get better either. Because we use high-quality equipment to capture the media on both ends, the media might sound or look better than it did on your equipment. It's also more convenient! No more flipping the tape over, or rewinding those VHS tapes.
How long does it take?
Because we transfer everything in real time to maintain the quality of the media, the transferring process takes quite a while. Sometimes, if we have other jobs before yours it could take up to a month to transfer your media. For one or two VHS tapes or Cassette tapes we usually have them finished in a week. Just contact us for a time estimate!
Can you transfer copyright material?
We are now able to transfer VHS tapes with Macrovision to a digital format. This means that we are able to transfer any copyright material to a new digital format.
